Glazed Hakurei Turnips

1 bunch Hakurei turnips
1 bunch Hakurei tops – chopped
¼ cup butter (or less)
2 Tbsp. sugar/maple syrup/honey

Chop the turnips in half and place in a skillet with water covering them halfway. Put the greens aside for now. Add the butter and sugar. Cook stirring occasionally until the sauce is syrupy and turnips are tender  – approximately 15 minutes. Add the chopped greens and cook another 2-3 minutes.
